Opening the panels
After properly installing CADtools into the Illustrator Plugins folder > Tools folder, launch Adobe Illustrator. (If you are using a demo, you will be limited to the number of tools you can use.) Choose Window > CADtools to view the CADtools panels.

Finding the tools
There are six CADtools toolgroups inside the Adobe Illustrator toolbox. CADtools icons are distinguished by their red point markings. The red points indicate the position of the mouse-click in relationship to the artwork created. Like other Illustrator tool groups, you can pop out the tools by clicking on the triangle at the end of each tool group.
